💙🖤❤️
FRD supports all People of Color in and out of derby. We would like to bring attention to our community and show solidarity and support for our Black skaters and Officials that are affected by implicit bias, as evident in the events of the recent past at East Coast Derby Extravaganza in Feasterville, PA.
Thank you to the community, to Atlanta Roller Derby, and to Queen Loseyateefa for bringing the conversation to the table and for not remaining silent. Read more at: https://thederbyapex.com/systemic-racism-in-roller-derby-queen-loseyateefa-9baa17806f2d
Know that we see, hear, and validate the concerns of our Black POC. We strive to work toward ensuring a safe space.

We may come from all backgrounds, yet we are all family. The skaters, the coaches, the officials, and the fans...are all the derby family. We will constantly strive to do better, and to love our family implicitly.
