If you did not play basketball growing up or do not know the fundamentals of basketball we can’t talk basketball. šŸ€ Know what you know and basketball ain’t it. Have a blessed day.

Long post. How GodsPlan was formed. I had been coaching my two sons in recreation and they were getting better and better everyday. They were about to go to 4th grade and I saw that it was a lot of travel basketball teams they most were not learning the game the way it was suppose to be. On the other hand I was told my sons didn’t take it seriously. I told some coaches let’s get together take the top 2 or 3 kids and form a strong team that would be a powerhouse in Fayetteville NC. They said to my face I didn’t know what was doing and that it would never work. The boys would’ve been 9 or 10 years old. I took about 3 or 4 kids off my recreation team and some kids join my team. I have some be loyal and most not be loyal. The first two years we won some games but didn’t win tournaments. My sons said dad let’s be great and I started to push them. People started noticing we started winning tournaments and kids started wanting to play with GodsPlan. The boys get to 6th grade now we winning tournaments boys get in 7th grade we have a great team and playing a grade up 8th grade and dominating mostly the same people that I talk to when the boys were in 3rd grade came to me and wanted to make 1 team and let them dominate I wasn’t for it because when I saw the vision you didn’t want it so keep the same vibe. I’ve been talked about, called names, people have taken my players. I have stood the journey and worked with the kids i developed. We are now playing BigShots circuit we are number 1st in the state and 4th nationally. I have one of the top programs around. Loyalty is far in few in travel basketball but when you can develop your own brand, build your your sons to be great. Everytime they step on the floor I show what hard work can do. The journey is not easy and have lost people family to death along the way but my true supporters know what GodsPlan is and why it keeps on reaching for the Stars. We are not about just winning tournaments but building great men to be great citizens and leaders in the community. Basketball is a game and one day you will not be able to play anymore. Set yourself up for greatness let basketball take you where you need to go but know one day it will end and then what do you do next? I always say I’m the truth teller some like it some don’t. I believe I am a great coach and I have a great program not a team but a program. GodsPlan lives on and the people who help start it God, Mia and myself and the vision lives on through Lanisha,Karen, Mike and myself. We have Myrtle Beach live 2 period this weekend. The journey at this time is Scholarships. If you in the area or love basketball come out and support GodsPlan it’s no secrets just reaching for the starts. God gave me a gift and God is just ordering my steps.

In basketball, loyalty is essentially nonexistent. šŸ€

It was a remarkable weekend for GodsPlan2027 as they traveled to Rock Hill, SC, for Big Shots Springs National. The team achieved a milestone, winning Big Shots for the first time. Let's commend these young men for their positive accomplishment. They brought the championship back to Fayetteville, NC. Gabe, MJ, and Bubba were the MVPS for the weekend, with MJ being the tournament MVP. To whom much is given, much is required. Why not us?

Today, I stressed that each game must be approached with the intensity of a championship matchup. The passage of time waits for no individual, and accomplishments must be earned through hard work. Our 2-0 performance in Big Shots sets the stage for another crucial 2-0 outing to secure hardware. Gabe and MJ was recognized as the MVP of game one, while the MVP of game two went unannounced, yet we still prevailed. GodsPlan enjoyed a triumphant day. The journey continues on Championship Sunday.

I have consistently emphasized that a team embodies the character of its coaches. As a diligent individual who has worked tirelessly to achieve my goals, I pose a challenge to my players this weekend: how fiercely do you desire success? What sacrifices are you willing to make to emerge victorious at the end of the tournament? It is a well-established fact that hard work supersedes talent when talent lacks diligence. Let us rise to the occasion and honor our commitment. It's time to rise and shine and give God the glory!!! Let's go!!!!! ā€œ910ā€ ā€œ26ā€
