We always teach our girls to look for the next play and be ready to take advantage when the opportunity comes.
This play is a great example. Harper Jensen #18 takes advantage of a defensive mistake and turns it into a double. Then Harper’s throw to 3rd and Nataleah #33 starting the rundown creates the opportunity that leads to the double play.
That’s smart, heads-up softball! It’s not always about the first play—it’s about being ready for what happens next.
