First off Happy New Year from everyone here at Roberts Racing. Its that time of year again as we continue work on the cars before the start of the season, we are currently and always looking for sponsorship. We have alot of cars that are a part of this team. Dear Maple Grove Racers,
Many of you are currently aware but for those who are not, there is a traction compound shortage. As the weeks progress, the shortage is becoming a very real issue for MGR. With that being said we are trying to be as proactive as possible by reevaluating upcoming events. The remaining Sunoco Race Fuels ET Series races will now be contested 1/8th mile for all classes. All other events such as Chevy Showdown, Geezers, Nitro Fish Fast Friday Night Test N Tunes, etc. will remain 1/4 mile at this time. The silver lining of this situation is that racers for Super and Pro can use the opportunity to prepare for Bracket Finals. Which will be here at Maple Grove Raceway, September 23-25. We understand this is not the ideal situation but we want to keep racing as planned. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

I know its been awhile since you heard from us we apologize for that just been very busy. Wanted to take this time to let everyone know race season is right around the corner and we are currently looking for as we always are looking for sponsorship. If you or anyone you know are interested in some good advertising message us. We plan for this to be our biggest season yet and although fuel prices are higher we plan to do more traveling and racing at different tracks within the tri-state area and maybe further. This creates an opportunity for exposure to areas that may not normally see your current ads. Sorry everyone for the lack of communication this season but it has been a busy one thats for sure. To start it was an up and down season alot of late nights getting things fixed. Dan and Cody both managed to qualify for bracket finals this year. Today the last points race of the season. Started out very good with both cars winning first round. However Dan had some transmission issues with a leak that we worked on for almost an hour to get to stop he barely made it up for round 2 but sure glad he did. As he went into the final where he was just a little early on the start at a .004 red but with the what happened well take runner up. Cody had a decent day as he made his way to the semis where he was a bit late on the light and the car didn't run the number. All in all it was a pretty good day. Waiting in a points update to see where both drivers finished. As always thanks for your support and we hope to see you out there.
