TheraFit Physical Therapy and Johnson & Hayes Physical Therapists partnered together for a pre-season injury prevention screening for local baseball and softball athletes.

James Bray, PT, DPT and Andy Black, PT, DPT joined the team to assess athletes’ movement, mobility, strength, and overall readiness heading into the season.

What a great turnout for our Dry Needling Workshop at TheraFit Fayetteville this past Monday.

We had the opportunity to spend time with members of our community, explain what dry needling is, discuss how it can be used in physical therapy, and answer some great questions along the way.

We love opportunities like this to educate, connect, and help people better understand their options for improving pain and movement.

TheraFit Spotlight - Greg Whitsett with Mara Scruggs, PTA

At TheraFit, there's nothing more rewarding than helping our patients regain their independence and confidence. Greg's dedication and hard work throughout his recovery have been inspiring, and we're honored to have been part of his journey.

Here's Greg's story:
"I started coming to TheraFit in February, just one month after suffering a stroke that left me in the ICU for four days. When I first arrived, I relied on a cane to walk, struggled with getting dressed, and was even afraid to shower on my own. After four months of therapy, I can honestly say my daily life has improved beyond what I imagined. I no longer need a cane, and I no longer fear getting into the shower. Thanks to the exceptional care and encouragement I’ve received at TheraFit, I’m now able to walk every day on my own. Jessica, Mara, and James are all incredible, highly knowledgeable physical therapists who genuinely care about their patients. Everyone at TheraFit is welcoming, compassionate, and supportive, creating an environment where you feel encouraged every step of the way. I am truly grateful for everything they’ve done to help me!"
