NC Veteran Suicide Awareness and Prevention Series - VSAP

This year we had our first full time female rider Aütümn Lyn. Autumn started out with a 15 miles ride with a few breaks and under 14mph average. She ended up riding across the entire state of NC at speeds that were faster than any VSAP Ride, to include a 100 mile century ride. She pulled for miles at a time with speeds over 20mph. Way to lead the way Autumn, for all females to emulate.

EXPO/Packet Pickup - Packet Pickup is on Friday Sept 17 at Eastover Recreation Center 3637 Pembroke Lane, Eastover from 4pm until 8pm. Note: this is the rec center and not the ballpark. The race is at the ballpark. Two separate locations.

SPONSORS/VENDORS - For Expo/Packet Pickup, please be ready to setup at 3pm Friday at the Eastover Rec Center, 3637 Pembroke Lane Eastover.

RACE DAY LOGISTICS
The race venue is at the Eastover Ballpark at 2721 Ballpark Rd Eastover.

MOST IMPORTANT- Please use the Beard Rd entrance. The Dunn Rd entrance will be closed and will be open for the start and finish of runners only. No vehicles.

VSAP 440 Training Plan
On speed ride focus on a shorter faster ride. On the endurance ride work on your non stop riding and dial in your nutrition. Also you should be constantly drinking water on endurance ride at an average of 15-20 miles per bottle.
