Get to know your Carolina swingmen!!!!!

To start off our player spotlight series we wanna introduce Will Richardson. Will and his family came to NC in July a couple years ago transitioning from Georgia and we were the first team Will tried out for and we knew from the tryout Will and his family would fit right into our baseball family and we are blessed to have them all!

Q1: how long have you been apart of coach cliffs team and a Carolina swingmen?

A1: I have been with coach cliff around 2.5 years

Q2: What positions do you play?

A2: 1st, 3rd & pitcher

Q3: what is your favorite MLB team?

A3: The Boston Red Sox

Q4: what do you want to be when you grow up?

A4: i want to play professional baseball for the Red Sox

Q5: What is one thing you’ve learned since you started playing with the Carolina swingmen or coach cliff?

A5: the coaches always remind us your gonna win some and you lose some your not gonna be perfect as long as you work and get 1% better every practice and everyday in your life your growing in the sport and off the field.

⚾️ : If you could thank one teammate or coach who has made an impact on you who would it be and why?

A: I would like to thank Clemons from my very first tryout for welcoming me with open arms to the team and making my transition from Georgia that much easier.

Assistant Coach Luke says “Will is one of the most respectful and welcoming young men when we joined the organization over a year ago he was one that went out of the way to make Eli and my family feel welcomed during our transition to coach cliffs team from The very first practice ”.

Assistant Coach Dwight says “Will works hard and is real easy to coach he is very coachable and is a leader on the field when it counts.“

SAME GAME, DIFFERENT NAME!

The mission remains the same!

#3 seed headed into the gold bracket tomorrow allowed to many runs late in game 2, but the boys will recharge and look to bring it home tomorrow starting bright and early at 8:30am
