Softball is much more than a game. On and off the field, you become part of a massive support system. Even as opponents competing against different jerseys, players share an unspoken bond and often rally together to support each other through life's hurdles.
Although we never played against the Bethesda Bombers 2015’s our hearts & prayers are with Bexley’s family, friends, teammates and all who are hurting during this difficult time.
Dear BCMS Family,
We are deeply saddened to share a recent loss in our school community. As many of you may know, Bexley Hiler has passed away. We want to express our heartfelt condolences to Bexley’s family and friends, and especially to her brother Jaxon. Bexley’s death will have a significant impact on our school community, and this loss is sure to raise many emotions, concerns, and questions for our entire school, especially our students. A loss like this can cause a lot of strong feelings and it’s healthy to reach out to someone about those feelings. Please know that your BCMS family is here to support you during this time. BCMS will have counselors available tomorrow, May 27th, from 8:30- 4:00, if any faculty or students need support. We know our community joins us in concern and sympathy for Bexley’s family.
