Today, we pause to remember and honor one of Fayette Golf Course's longest-standing members, Kenny Blakely.
For decades, Kenny was a familiar face on our course, having played here since the late 1960s or early 1970s. Through the years, he became much more than a golfer—he was a friend, a fixture of our golf community, and part of the history of Fayette Golf Course itself.
Kenny's love for the game and for this course left a lasting impression on generations of golfers who had the privilege of knowing him. His presence, stories, and camaraderie will be deeply missed.
As family and friends gather today to celebrate his life, we extend our heartfelt condolences to all who loved him. We are grateful for the many years he spent as part of our Fayette Golf Course family.
Rest in peace, Kenny. Your legacy on these fairways will not be forgotten. ⛳️
