Motion Gymnastics & Tumbling Center provides a family-friendly place for young people to learn basic gymnastics and tumbling skills that strengthen body awareness and coordination while reinforcing each person’s unique strengths. How We Roll:
Motion athletes learn to work in a group and set individual goals. This enables athletes to work at their own level and pace to build self-confidence. Motion Gymnastics & Tumbling instructors support and encourage young people to improve through repetition and progression. Strength, flexibility, and body awareness are skills that build a strong foundation for any young person as they learn and grow. The progressive nature of the sport helps develop a system of learning that goes beyond the gym to support learning in any form. What We Teach:
Motion Gymnastics & Tumbling Center offers a variety of classes for kids of all ages. The schedule includes Exploratory Movement for Parent/Child and Preschool age, Recreational Developmental Gymnastics, Tumbling, and Adventure Agility Challenge classes. Owner/Instructor: Natalie Kelly-Kimmel
Natalie was a gymnast for twelve years, training and competing in the USA Gymnastics (USAG) Junior Olympic program. She won numerous awards during her gymnastics career, including Indiana state championships on the uneven bars, the balance beam (twice), and in the all-around competition. She contributed to three state team championship titles and one Midwest Regional team title. Natalie began teaching preschool and recreational gymnastics classes in 1993 and coaching competitive-level teams in 2000. She has worked with nationally known coaches, including Tammy Biggs, member of the United States national coaching staff and coach of Olympian Missy Marlowe. Other youth sports experience includes coaching basketball, soccer, and track and field. Natalie earned a BA in Elementary and Special Education from Indiana University. She has more than six years of teaching experience, including as a special education lead teacher and currently as a preschool teacher at Sunrise Learning Center. Natalie’s Imagine Music program has brought rhythm and joy to children in Madison, Indiana and Farmville, Virginia for more than four years. Natalie is excited to teach Farmville-area youth basic movement, gymnastics, and tumbling skills and help them develop strength and agility in a fun, safe setting.
