Three Leg Burning movements in order

Squat 6x6. It can be back, front, hip, goblet, whatever. Make it heavy and do 6 set of 6 reps

Vertical leg press 5x8-12. Machine or diagonal leg press is fine, I just have a home gym and vertical is what I do. I like to do a progressive weight until I hit a set of 8 and then I'll do 3 sets of that. Takes a while to get there sometimes.

Step ups 5x10. You can add weight if you too, that's ideal. I use a bench because it brings my leg past a 90 degree angle and just to 10 reps per leg for 5 sets. Currently walking around like the creator of sports entertainment. Just don't live like he does.

Hey there everyone sorry I have been absent for a while now. Things have been happening in my personal life but now I am back. Looking to help those that need a push in their life, especially after the work day has ended and you really want to get back into shape. I know how hard it is to get your butt in the gym after a whole day of work. Utilizing years of personal experience, I will create you a program that will make you stronger, leaner, and have the smallest amount of lactic acid build up so you're still functional for the next day. Alright I am taking requests for personalized, individualized programs. These programs will be geared towards your goals and will also be prepared in a way to help with any injuries or muscular instabilities you may be experiencing. I've had plenty of experience working with people who had back pain, knee instability, shoulder pain, limited range of motion in hips and shoulders, Plantar fasciitis, tennis elbow, arthritis and osteoporosis. I would love to create a program for you and have a weekly check in to see how your progress is coming. Starting next week I'll be backing off of the constant 6x3 and the 5x5 for a while. I've hit a plateau, it happens to everyone. When that happens we need to make adjustments. My adjustments will be going down in the weight and hitting some 4x8-12 again. This will help me not only with some form adjustments, but will also allow me to hit some hypertrophy. We should always change our routine every 6 to 8 weeks. After that time period we should do either a deload week or a rest week. Yeah it can be boring but rest is way to important especially when lifting heavy weight. I also plan on getting up to around 240lbs over the winter and then when the new year starts and the NC Strongest man gets closer is when I will head back into brute hard strength training. Hey everyone, I know trying to juggle work and home life is tough enough to squeeze in some training but let's look at this is the long run. Why wait to start taking control of you health and life. Time only keeps moving forward, age keeps progressing and the likelihood of illness and disease increases. Let's get ourselves into the gym and reduce that onset of illnesses that occur with age. Let's bring that quality of life back up to where it was 5,10,15 years ago, together.

6 years ago I started my strongman journey, I was 180lbs at 15% body fat. Now I am 230lbs at 20% bodyfat. Getting bigger has always been a struggle but I've learned that over the years that mass moves mass. The photo on the left was the leanest I ever was and though I was strong enough to keep up with the big guys, I wasn't able to win the competition. I came in 9th out of 10th place 6 years ago, and that belt has been retired because it doesnt fit me anymore.

Many things have happened to me since then, gas can explosion, becoming a dad, and dislocating my shoulder doing a Ninja Warrior event has made many changes to how and when I've been able to exercise but I always set aside time for exercise.

The rest of this year and leading into next I will be prepping for the NC Novice Strongman Competition. My goal is to not only get stronger and more conditioned to lifting heavy objects but to focus more on time under tension. That means slow and controlled motion on lowering the weight. When we lower the object slowly and focus on our breathing we burn more fat tissue and grow the muscle fibers.

Recomposition of the body after years of gaining size and mass will be a challenge but it's not impossible when we set our mind to it. Join me on my journey and I will not only join you on yours but guide you through yours. No matter what your end goal is, we all want to look into the mirror and be happy with what we see.
