Eagles and Jalen Hurts reached agreement on a five-year, $255 million extension, including $179.304 million guaranteed, per source.

Zach LaVine’s 39 points led all scorers for tonight’s 9-10 Play-In matchup in Toronto. LaVine shot 12-22 from the field & was 13-15 from the line. DeMar DeRozan totaled 23 points & 7 boards against his former team & Nikola Vucevic added a 14 point, 13 board double double as the Bulls overcame a 19 point deficit & escaped with a win over the Raptors 109-105. The Bulls will face the Miami Heat Friday night for a chance to play the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round of postseason play.

Fred VanVleet had a 26 point, 12 board double double, he shot 7-13 from deep & Pascal Siakam led the Raptors with 32 points, shooting 13-22 from the field. Siakam shot 5-11 from the line, he also missed his last 2 free throw attempts as the Raptors season ended in devastating fashion.

LeBron James & Anthony Davis led the Lakers in an overtime victory, in last night’s 7-8 Play-In tournament match over the Minnesota Timberwolves 108-102. LeBron led all scorers with 30 points & 10 boards, shooting 12-21 from the field & 3-6 from behind the arc. Anthony Davis contributed 24 points & 15 boards, as well as work on the defensive end with 2 steals & 3 blocks. Dennis Schroder had a good night with 21 points, shooting 3-4 from deep & a perfect 8-8 at the line.

Lakers out rebounded the Timberwolves (48-37), outscored them in the paint (52-36) & scored 30 points off turnovers to the Timberwolves 19. Karl-Anthony Towns led Minnesota with 24 points, 15 boards & 3 blocks, Point Guard Mike Conley scored 23 points, shooting 6-8 from deep, with 3 steals. “Slo Mo” Kyle Anderson had a productive night with 12 points, 13 assists & added 4 steals & 4 blocks to the stat sheet.

Minnesota played the Lakers well despite not having fellow big man Rudy Gobert. The former 3-time defensive player of the year was suspended from last night’s game, due to throwing a punch at teammate Kyle Anderson on the bench, in a team timeout. Gobert should be available for the Timberwolves match against the winner of the Pelicans-Thunder 9-10 Play-In matchup on Friday.

The Lakers move on to face the 2 seed Memphis Grizzlies in the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.
