Sal's been a homeowner in Farmingville for over 30 years. He has served as a Boy Scout leader, Football Coach, Baseball Coach and Basketball Coach. He was a Religion Teacher at St. Margaret's Church and has been a dedicated Suffolk County Employee for 34 years. Sal served as an AME Union Leader for more than 10 years. SAL WILL WORK HARD FOR YOUR COMMUNITY!

There were 75 firehouses in which at least one member was killed.
The FDNY also lost its department chief, first deputy commissioner, one of its marshals, one of its chaplins, as well as other administrative or specialty personnel.
On 9-11, 121 engine companies, 62 ladder companies and 27 fire officers were deployed to the world trade center.
All off-duty firefighters were recalled — the first time the FDNY had issued a total recall in over 30 years.
