A new court filing shows that even though the 2023 pistol brace rule was wiped off the books, the ATF is still arguing that some brace-equipped pistols can be treated as short-barreled rifles under existing federal law.

Tomorrow 2/16 is the day that this bill will be heard in the House Judiciary Committee, the final step before a vote that likely will result in its passage in the House of Representatives.
Being Presidents’ Day we should honor our forefathers and fight this atrocity of legislation. If you haven’t, get involved, take a moment and let the representatives know your position. Mike will be in Santa Fe to help make it known this will not make our state safer, it will only put honest hardworking business owners out of business.
