Safer-U was created to assist the average citizen in protecting themselves from the evil that may come into his or her life, and thus make a better and safer society. Our simple, effective reality-based training was created with the non-expert, average person in mind. ng on defensive techniques. We offer women's unarmed protection training in three levels: Level i is "stand-up" defensive tactics. Level II is "down and dirty" - fighting from and on the ground. Level III deals with protective actions to take when faced with weapons. A new course we have developed is a couple's unarmed cobatives course. It focuses upon personal protection training that deals with reality-based issues and circumstances faced by couples; such as, what should the woman do if the man is dealing with a potentional attacker, or what happens when one has a bably in one arm, is holding the hand of the toddler while the other spouse has his or her hands full of groceries or shopping bags? We offer a significant number of armed response courses. We offer New Mexico Concealed Carry certification through our state authorized, professional, law enforcment instructors
For those who have no experience with fi****ms, we offer the NRA Basic Pistol Course and our own follow-on CCW preparation course we call Basic Pistol II. Basic Pistol provides training that allows you to become comfortable with the fi****ms you may choose to use as CCW holder, and range time will help you become more comfortable and confident in your abilities to shoot. The New Mexico CCW course is a certification process, and limited training can be offered during the course; however, we offer an intermediate CCW holder class that will introduce you into more advanced techniques that are based upon proven, successful methods, and our realty focused sceanarios will help you handle situations that may arise in your life that call for the use of force. Our advanced Force on Force training, using airsoft guns, will be a real wake-up call for most CCW carriers. Students will be placed in reality-based role play situations, but unlike the paper or cardboard targets one practices upon, this time the target has the ability to shoot or stab back! It is a fantastic tool to learn what works and does not work in the real world. There are more courses still to be added in the future; such as, home defense, personal protection for professionals, protection of the business or office environment, and church security training.
