So, after being off for a year and a half from me being unable to ride, and then going through her recuperation to get weight and muscle back after she dropped a bunch, I was finally able to ride my Punk (aka, Fire-breathing Dragon). She did really well, we mostly walked and did a little trotting and loping. Worked quite a bit on flexing and giving in to pressure without taking off or fighting it. To build muscle and get her back in gear, we will be doing a lot of long trotting on the fencelines and uphill/downhill climbs at a walk and a little at a trot. This will help her recuperate quicker and healthier, in addition to her supplements she gets 4-6 days a week. I'm impressed with her today and really look forward to the next ride!
