The end of a season feels so much like grief. As coaches, we look at the X’s and O’s and reflect on what we could have done better to get more wins, but after time we know that the true victories are the ones that come with the opportunities to coach young women. It is such a blessing to have the hard conversations, deal with adversities, coach them through the highs and the lows, and even push through the tears in the last locker room talk. I am so thankful to coach this group, and couldn’t be more proud of each and every one of them. I hope you all enjoyed this year as much as I did.
