Walking seems simple. Most people still do it wrong.

A few things to check next time you're out:

> Land midfoot, not on your heel with a hard slap

> Let your arms swing naturally, not locked at your sides

> Keep your chest up, not hunched toward your phone

> Push off through your toes instead of shuffling

Small adjustments here reduce joint stress and make every mile easier on your body.

It's not about walking more. It's about walking right.

Let’s talk about it. https://triad-performance.com/book-a-call

Balance isn't just for gymnasts.

It's for anyone who wants to stay strong, mobile, and injury-free as they age.

Most people don't think about balance until they've already fallen. By then it's a lot harder to fix.

Here's a simple test: stand on one leg for 30 seconds.

Can't do it without wobbling or grabbing something? That's a sign to work on it now, not later.

Balance training doesn't take long, but it pays off for years.

Running injuries almost always come down to the same thing: form breaks down before people notice.

A few basics I check first with every runner:

> Cadence — are you overstriding, reaching your foot too far in front of you?

> Posture — are you leaning from the hips, not the waist?

> Foot strike — landing under your body, not out in front?

> Breathing — controlled, not gasping by mile two?

Fix the form, and the pace usually follows.

If you're dealing with nagging pain on your runs, let's talk before it turns into something bigger.

You don't need a meal plan. You need protein and a plan you'll actually stick to.

Here's the tip that changes everything: hit your protein target first, then build the rest of your day around it. Protein keeps you full, protects your muscle while you're losing fat, and it's the one macro most people are chronically under on.

Aim for a palm-sized portion of protein at every meal. Chicken, eggs, fish, lean beef, whatever you've got. Do that consistently and the rest starts falling into place.

→ Not sure how much protein you actually need? DM me "PROTEIN" and I'll break it down for you.

The best workout program is the one you'll actually show up for.

I see people chasing the "perfect" split, the perfect app, the perfect routine — meanwhile they're skipping sessions because the plan doesn't fit their life. A solid program you do 4 days a week beats a great program you do once.

Pick something simple. Show up. Adjust as you go.

Consistency beats perfect every single time.

→ Ready to stop overthinking it? I can give you a simple plan — https://triad-performance.com/book-a-call

1:1 coaching spots are opening up this month — and this isn't just for one type of person.

I work with athletes chasing the next level. People coming back from an injury and rebuilding from the ground up. Adults who just want to move better and feel strong in everyday life. Youth training.

Teams looking to train together with a real plan.

Different goals, same approach: an honest assessment of where you're at, and a program built around you — physically, mentally, and yes, spiritually too.

Health isn't the finish line. It's the tool for whatever you're called to do next.

A few spots are open this month. Send me a message or book a call — https://triad-performance.com/book-a-call

Tried physical therapy or another protocol and still didn't get the result you wanted?

That's exactly where I come in.

With a background in sports medicine and exercise physiology, I dig into what's actually causing the breakdown.

Then we build a plan to move you out of pain and into better function.
Performance isn't just for athletes — it's how you move through everyday life.

If you're dealing with pain or dysfunction, give us a call. Let's fix it.
