Safely on Target LLC, NYS Pistol Permit Class: July 12 & 13, 2025 at Victor Rod & Gun Club:
COME JOIN US!! Learn from experts! Our next NYS Pistol Permit class is Saturday, July 12, 2025 from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM, and Sunday, July 13, from 10:00 until 6:00 PM. Please text, call or email me for registration information. This class is open to everyone, with or without a NYS Pistol Permit. Saturday, the NRA Basic Pistol Certification portion, is also Day 1 of the 2-day class required to apply for a NYS Pistol Permit. We offer the opportunity to shoot multiple different calibers of REAL guns during this class (not all do!). Even if you have a permit you can also attend Day 2, for lots of additional information on laws that you never heard, but that is a necessity if you carry or use any firearm in self-defense, recreational shooting, traveling, etc. Completing both days constitutes the NYS (18-hour) pistol permit class so you can apply for your permit it you don’t have it. The cost of the full weekend class is $250, and I GUARANTEE this is the least cost around for this course and all it includes (and I have also been told "the best!"). If you want only the Saturday portion to earn the NRA Basic Pistol Certification, that portion is $145 (this is INCLUDED in the full weekend price).
Besides the NRA Basic Pistol certification, our class also may include extra range time at our private range for additional shooting practice, a very nice and informative book, the FL & AZ certificates, and we’ll have a guest speaker (pending availability) who is a retired law enforcement officer who has had to shoot someone, and who has been shot. (Nobody else provides all this value, and all other classes I know of charge $300-400!)
