We held our end of season banquet on Wednesday evening and it exceeded every expectation.

We easily surpassed 100 people in attendance, with over 50 of our wrestlers making the event. We are extremely proud of the commitment and effort put in by the parents and kids of this group!

Along with a great attendance, the event had a bounce house, snow cone machine, cotton candy machine, and enough food and treats to easily feed the large crowd.

We have to give a huge shout out to the parents and coaches who helped organize and fund this event, along with The Center Cut Slaughter & Meat Processing for supporting our club and donating the meat to feed our families! Also, a big thank you to the parents for their gifts to the coaches. It is much appreciated!

We recognized all of our wrestlers in attendance with a medal to appreciate their hard work this season. We also recognized our top tournament performers, along with individual awards for:

MOST WINS- Hudson Newland (37-11)

MOST IMPROVED- Emmerson Brackett (20-3)

ROOKIE OF THE YEAR- Jack Johnson (26-4) (22-0 in rookie competitions)

Thank you all and we look forward to seeing our wrestlers in the room this spring and summer!

A huge congratulations to our 6 all-americans from Adidas Nationals this past weekend. I must say this tournament was one of the most fun tournaments we have attended. And the competition was very stiff. We took 8 competitors and managed to come home with 6 medalists!

A huge congratulations to our USA State medalists, Gavin Newland and Emmerson Brackett. Gavin finished 2nd in the state, while Emmerson finished 3rd.

The youth State tournament is especially challenging due to its size. It is 32 man brackets which is twice the size it was back when the coaches wrestled. There are no divisions like there are in high school. It is the BEST 32 kids from the entire state. And these two were able to rise to the top.

As a whole, our team really impressed me this weekend. There were very few matches where we were completely out matched. We battled and competed in almost every match, which is our goal. We had SEVERAL kids that were on the fringes of placing, coming up just short. Our team is relatively inexperienced compared to their competition, but that is quickly changing. We have a dedicated group and I'm excited to keep working with them and pushing them towards their goals.

Congratulations to our 2026 state qualifiers! These individuals were able to punch their ticket to the state tournament next weekend in Springfield. We were able to qualify 12 of our 18 competitors, with a few of them narrowly missing the cut. State Champions loading......
