Our ray of sunshine, Miss Gabby, has truly shown what grit and determination look like these past six weeks.
With Blue, her main mount, sidelined, Gabby has had to adapt and overcome. First jumping on Dutch, then Thor, she never complained and simply got to work. Every challenge thrown her way was met with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Last night in Ione was Gabby and Blue's first ride back together. Before her run, Madi Gliege reminded her not to push him and just see what he was willing to give after his time off. The run wasn't about winning—it was about getting her partner back.
If you watch closely, you can see the excitement and pure joy at the end of her run. That's the kind of bond you can't teach. It was a special moment watching this young cowgirl reunited with her boy.
We are so proud of Gabby for her adaptability, patience, and maturity through it all. Challenges don't build character—they reveal it, and Gabby has shown us exactly who she is. ❤️💙
Welcome back, Blue. We know your biggest fan is happy to have you back.

When Elena first started patterning Lucky in the barrels and poles, she was just 9 years old and Lucky was a long 3 year old. With guidance from Madi Gliege and the unwavering support of her parents, she set out on a journey that would require patience, dedication, and trust in the process. What began as a young rider learning the fundamentals has grown into one of the most exciting teams to watch today.
Over the past two years, we have had the privilege of watching Elena and Lucky transform frustration into confidence, challenges into achievements, and hard work into success. Week after week, run after run, they have continued to show up, put in the work, and trust the process. Their commitment has developed them into a powerhouse team in both the barrels and poles.
One of the most rewarding parts of this journey has been watching Elena take ownership of developing a young horse herself. Success doesn't happen overnight—it is built through consistency, determination, and countless hours behind the scenes. Elena has embraced every lesson, every setback, and every victory, growing not only as a competitor but also as a horsewoman. Her confidence, horsemanship, and work ethic are just as impressive as the results she is producing in the arena.
Today, Elena and Lucky continue to find themselves consistently at the top of the leaderboard, running in the 1D barrels and placing among the top competitors in pole bending. Their success is proof that dedication to the process produces results. There are no shortcuts—just hard work, persistence, and the willingness to keep showing up day after day.
Behind every successful rider is a strong support system, and Elena is blessed with the utmost dedicated parents and an incredible village that believes in her every step of the way. Their encouragement and commitment have helped create an environment where both horse and rider can thrive.
We could not be prouder of Elena and Lucky and the commitment they have shown to their goals. Their journey is a reminder that continued dedication, patience, and hard work are the foundation of lasting success. Keep an eye on this team—their accomplishments so far are only the beginning, and we truly believe the best is yet to come.

Emma aka “Emma Jamma”and her 4 year old mare ShesaFreakingMetallic "Xena " have come far together in such a short amount of time, and we couldn't be more proud of this team!
When Emma was ready for a step-up horse, her mom wasn't completely sure that Xena was the right fit. Xena originally came to the barn for Madi Gliege
to tune up on barrels and poles and to work through a few habits she had developed along the way.
From the very beginning, we all knew Emma was ready for the next level up, and we had a feeling Xena would take great care of her rider. Watching these two build a partnership has been incredible. Their confidence, trust, and determination continue to grow with every ride.
Today, Emma and Xena are turning heads in both the barrel racing and pole bending arenas, and they're now stepping into the breakaway roping pen as well! Their work ethic and willingness to learn, and still have fun has been impressive to watch.
They may be small, but this mighty duo proves that heart, grit, and determination can accomplish big things. We are so proud of everything Emma and Xena have achieved and can't wait to see what the future holds for them!
Keep chasing those dreams, girl—we'll be cheering you on every step of the way. ❤️🐴

Miss Sierra Mathews and KM Classy N Famous, better known as "LC" (Little Cookie), are a true example of what dedication, patience, and hard work can accomplish.
Sierra came to our barn at just 13 years old, and we have had the privilege of watching her grow into an exceptional young horsewoman. Over the years, she has ridden multiple step-up horses, gaining valuable experience and building the foundation needed to reach the next level.
When the time came for Sierra to advance her program and invest in a true performance prospect, she purchased KM Classy N Famous as a 3-year-old. LC was started. Madi Gliege pattered her for three months before the reins were handed over to Sierra, along with the guidance and support needed to finish developing this talented mare.
Since then, Sierra has done a phenomenal job. Together, she and LC have earned multiple futurity wins and consistently found themselves at the top of the 1D at many of the races they enter. We are excited to see where KM Classy N Famous's lifetime earnings will stand at the conclusion of this futurity season.
What many people don't see is the work that happens behind the scenes. Sierra is at the barn six days a week conditioning, grooming, braiding, and caring for LC. Her work ethic, discipline, and commitment are far beyond her 16 years.
We could not be more proud of both Sierra and LC, and of the tremendous growth they have shown together over the years. Their success is a testament to the value of dedication, consistency, and trusting the process.
We have a saying around our barn: "Let the youngsters train their own, because they can—and they appreciate the process." Sierra is proof of that philosophy, and we can't wait to see what the future holds for this incredible team.

We are incredibly proud of this team and all they have accomplished together.
The Tahija family has done an outstanding job breeding, raising, and owning quality homegrown horses, that Madi Gliege has had the opportunity and pleasure of patterning.
Born to Booogie (Roo) came to the barn last winter as a 4-year-old to begin her barrel and pole patterning, with the goal of becoming Olivia Tahija’s next step-up horse.
Watching Roo develop and seeing Olivia take over the reins has been incredibly rewarding. Together, Olivia and Roo are excelling in both barrel racing and pole bending, showing tremendous talent, dedication, and partnership every time they enter the arena.
Their hard work is paying off, and we couldn’t be prouder of what they have achieved so far. The future is bright for this pair, and they are definitely a team to watch in the years ahead.
Congratulations to Olivia, Roo, and the Tahija family on all of their success—we are excited to see what comes next! Check out the Tahija Sisters on SM.

"Homegrown talent, hard work, and a special partnership—this is just the beginning for Olivia and Roo!" 🐴❤️🏆

CN Slick Designs ("Vinnie"), bred by Charleen Ornellas out of her fantastic mare, Shesa Smokin Andi. Vinnie was raised and trained by Madi Gliege.
After careful consideration, Vinnie was sold to twelve year old Georgia Jean Carter Castro, knowing that Georgia would be the best jockey for Vinnie and they would make a phenomenal team.
With only 12 runs under their belt, Georgia and Vinnie achieved both of their personal best time on Thursday night at Diamond Arena Triple Seven Barrel Racing stopping the clock at an impressive 17.2.
Congratulations to Georgia and Vinnie on this exciting milestone! 🎉 Georgia and Vinnie will also be heading to the Jr NFR in December. Here's to many more personal bests, successful runs, and memories together. 🐎✨🏆 We are proud of the both of you!
