Briarwood Derby Day 💙🐴
What a wonderful day at Briarwood Farm, combining great competition with an important cause as we helped raise money for cancer research.
In the $2,500 Briarwood Farm Hunter Derby, Sophee piloted Luxe and Cartograph to an impressive 1st and 2nd place finish. Sophee was also awarded the Leading Lady Rider Award
In the 2’6” Hunt & Go Derby, Dree and Silver Dollar earned 5th place, while Olivia and Calliope rounded out the top 12 with a 12th place finish. Skylar and Sophia also put in solid rounds in a competitive field of 57 entries.
In the Low Children’s Hunters, against a very competitive group:
Dree and Silver Dollar: 1st, 2nd, 7th & 6th
Olivia and Calliope: 4th, 7th, 3rd & 2nd
In the Low Adult Hunters, Skylar and Appealing View were Champion, and also earned 3rd place in the 2’6” Medal.
Sophia and Domingo finished 2nd in the 2’6” Medal.
We were also excited to see Violet and Velour return to the show ring, finishing with a 3rd and 7th in the 2’3” Hopeful Hunters.
