Expanding horizons. While members continue to support pipeline inspections, one of our interns is supervised rigging and inspecting a remote anchor, while still maintaing situational awareness and atmospheric monitoring.
A shoring strut is manually pressurized against the pipe wall creating a rigging point for moving equipment in sloped sections.
Over 1100 pounds on the load cell with no slippage.

FDTSC Rope Access Team providing Confined Space Rescue Standby for workers performing an inspection and maintenance of an under river tunnel. Seen in the video is a deep access shaft used for entry. Members are prepared to use the Harken Industrial Lokhead Winch to remove injured workers if necessary. In the video, FDTSC members are providing a demonstration for the workers.

FDTSC instructors had a great time providing one of our Zip Line Clients with their annual rescue refresher. Had a delayed start due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but we were able to adjust our procedures with facial coverings and social distancing (when possible) to get ready for potential openings. We were excited to add the I'D EVAC device by to the rescue plan as of this year and, as always, had a great time using cable glider by / . Thanks to for the great day!
