is a strict curl world champion, being the first woman ever to curl 140lb šŸ’Ŗ

But her message to newer lifters is to stop worrying about what people who are stronger than you are doing. Put all your energy into learning and technique, and the PRs will come soon enough.

Stay strong and feel free to reach out if you need guidance on your strict curl journey

This is a great bench variation to work your triceps, upper chest and shoulders.

Here are 2 ways you can set up for the reverse grip bench.

The whole tutorial from my Peaking for Bench Clinic is on my YT channel šŸ”— in bio.

I'll never forget the time I hit my first 800lb squat

It was at a seminar with the first man to hit a 3,000lb total.

That weekend every single person in our training crew hit a huge PR milestone.

Knowing that a powerlifting legend who did something people once thought was impossible was watching me and believed in me gave me the confidence to try something I thought was impossible.

Environment and the people you surround yourself with in training is everything.

Who's the one person that would make you hit an unbelievable PR if they were standing behind you? Tag them šŸ‘‡

No matter how good you get at powerlifting, it's important to stay humble and realize you could always learn something from others.

Don't underestimate that older guy at your gym. He's probably been in the scene much longer and has some interesting tips and tricks you've never even heard of.

Being an old school lifter before we had such accessible information on social media, we really got to experiment, push our limits, and train without distraction. That's what today's lifters are missing.

If you want to cut corners in powerlifting, expect a short career with mediocre results šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

and I put all our hot powerlifting takes out there on the latest Powerlifting for the People Podcast. You'll either agree or feel called out, and if it's the latter, you might need to rethink the way you see training ā€¼ļø

Rising Tides Raise all ships

Over the last two decades one of the best things I ever did for self improvement was rub elbows with people better then me

At Gaglione Strength we hosted many seminars and live team training with some of the best in the world including Ray Williams the multiple time world champion and most decorated raw squatter in history.

Ray "Ray Ray" Williams squatted a 1052 in our gym in preparation for Worlds and then went on to hit 1080 at the Arnold later in his career!

I can’t wait to see what he does for his ā€œcomebackā€ meet this year !

And to my surprise I realized Herculew was coming to the East coast for his Powerlifting America debut and was fortunate enough to see history once again !

110 Percent Kevin J. Papa provided a great platform to showcase his strengths as well as the rest of the incredible field of lifters.

That being said one thing that really stuck with me is from a spectating standpoint people are most excited to the biggest men move the biggest weights.

Seeing humans climb a mountain no one has climbed before is extremely enticing so

There is not map to get to the peak .

Going into uncharted waters is a noble quest indeed.

Those athlete need to find there own way

Much like Julius Maddox is doing on his quest to up the bench world record at Record Breakers this November

ā€œWe want to see dingersā€

It’s a good reminder if you are just getting into lifting focus on getting strong first BUT also build and retain as much speed and athleticism as you can

Devanteā€˜s biggest weapon ? His ability to move well in spite of how big he is.

I know that’s going to take him far and it’s good for us to take notes

Congrats to Devonte and his coach Michael Greeno on a fantastic start the a blossoming career

Anyone else think he has 500 kg in him ? And let’s not count Ray out of the hunt either. Who will have the biggest squat at the end of 2026 ?

Comment below !!

You heard it here is going for a 760 bench at Cincinnati Record Breakers on November 14 ā€¼ļø

This will be one of the rare moments when all of the most insanely strong powerlifters across multiple generations will be in one room fighting to make the biggest lift. The energy will be unreal and you can't miss it.

Who else do you want to see compete at record breakers? šŸ‘€

When came back to the platform at everyone's heads were turned and they wanted to see more.

After some convincing from it sounds like we'll be seeing him again at Cincinnati Record Breakers and he's going for 715lb+ šŸ“ˆ

You won't want to miss it - November 14th!

I don’t pander to what’s popular

I am master of my fate

And the captain of my soul

My values, goal and mission dictate my action

All of my actions have always been about building a stronger community whether that be starting in Long Island or now here in Milton, Delaware and truthfully when it comes to Strength sports like Curl, you can make a case for the entire country and even worldwide

I’ve been coaching competing for over 20 years

I’ve total elite in five week classes the first and only known man to Squat 800 pounds and six

Yeah, I didn’t start like that. I was the fat kid growing up picked last in gym class and I never achieve my goals as a high school athlete and I drove me to learn about proper training techniques and become a coach.

I always aim to to lead from the front and I believe my actions over the course of two decades plus have demonstrated this

I will continue to spread the message of Strength

And leave from the front by engaging in fulfilling training that means something to me

My next goal will be taking the stage at Mr. America and showcasing my strength on the strict curl

What do you choose to run a 5K to a crossword contest a Strongman event a Powerlifting Lead do a single lift contest maybe even an unsanctioned meet to or garage gym competition

It’s all made up

It just needs to mean something to you

It’s about Self improvement is striving for a better version of yourself

If anyone tells you different, don’t listen to them

If anyone wants to come throw down, we got a few spots left for Mr America

If you got the courage to take the stage with me, shoot me a DM and I’ll give you the link

Let’s have some fun in Atlantic City!

PS I’ll also be celebrating my 20 year anniversary as a coach and our awards center for the team at Carmine’s at the Tropicana to celebrate the event if you’re gagging on Strength alumni, please reach out to secure one of the last spots before September 15
