Dear Parents and Guardians,

We are looking for people to join the Faribault Soccer Club Board!! Our next board meeting on Sunday, September 14th at 6pm at the Faribault Soccer Complex (unless the weather is poor then we will meet at the Faribault Ice Arena).

As you may be aware, we had several transitions within the club and program this summer and we are looking for individuals who are willing to step into leadership roles to help guide our organization. We believe that in order for Youth Soccer in Faribault to continue to grow and thrive, we need dedicated individuals who are willing to take an active role in shaping the future of our club.

We cannot do it without people who are willing to lead. Whether you have prior experience in leadership roles or are looking to learn and grow in this capacity, we welcome all parents and guardians who have children in the club program, or who have had kids in the program previously to attend the board meeting and consider taking on a leadership role within the club.

Your involvement and support are crucial to the success of the Faribault Soccer Club, and we value your input and contributions. Please join us on September 14th at 6pm to learn more about how you can make a difference in our club and help us continue to be a positive influence in our community.

Maybe Cannon River FC is a program that might be what you are looking for.

Tryouts for our 25/26 GU18 select team will be held July 7 & 8 at 6:30pm at Bahl Fieldl at the Faribault Soccer Complex. All participants should also hold 5-9pm on July 10th as players may be invited to a Friendly in Owatonna kicking off at 6pm.

Q: What is a Sneaker Ball?

A: Think Parents' Prom, you know, your chance to get dressed in your fun formal attire (if you want, you don't have to), but you get to wear sneakers. No heels, no dress shoes, you get to wear your favorite Air Force Ones, Dunks, Adidas, you name it. It's a win-win! Originally intended to be a black-tie affair, but if that's not your thing, wear whatever you feel comfortable in. We just want to see you there! Join us for a DJ, mixing and mingling, a silent auction, games, and a cash bar.

A: This is a Fundraiser for the CRFC Girls U17 Select Soccer Team and yes tickets are $35/person.

Q: Why is CRFC hosting a Sneaker Ball?
A. CRFC partnered with Faribault Soccer Club, a 501C3 Non-Profit Youth Soccer Organization, to help build Select Level youth soccer programming in and around the Rice County Area. In this pilot program year, 19 young female student athletes from 5 different high schools were selected for the first CRFC G17U Select Team. The team will compete in six tournaments this spring and summer, and to ensure all registrations for all players are funded, as well as their uniforms, equipment, insurance, and training expenses are covered, CRFC is hosting a fundraiser to help keep the fees at a reasonable investment for families in this region.

FAQ:
Financial Aid—If you would like to apply for financial aid, you may do so during registration. You must complete registration to be eligible for Financial Aid. Once we receive all of the requests, the board will allocate the funds that are available and let the recipients know!

AGE Breakdowns - All ages within our system are correct! The age bracket is January 1 to December 31 (not the school year!)
