Tiny Float Fargo ISR Instructor - Teaching children 6 months to 6 years old to self rescue 🌊

“Where do you teach?” and “What does a lesson look like?” are two of the questions I get most often.

Here’s a quick look at both! 🤭🙌🏻

Come along for a peek at the pool and what a typical ISR lesson experience looks like for families. Every lesson is personalized, one-on-one, and designed to help children develop essential water survival skills while building confidence in and around the water.

I hope this helps answer a few of those frequently asked questions! If there’s anything else you’re curious about, feel free to send me a message - I’m always happy to chat about ISR and water safety. 💙

With summer right around the corner, many families are starting to shop for new swimsuits ☀️

Choosing a cute one is fun…
Choosing a visible one is safety.

Most parents don’t realize how quickly certain colors disappear underwater, especially in lakes or darker pools.

The more your little one stands out in the water, the better.

“Can we all float together?” 💙

Scroll to watch these three siblings make it happen!!

Different ages. Different personalities. One life-saving skill. Each child learning to float, rest, and stay safer in the water.
And yes… managing all three at once was an adventure 😂

This crew is proof that ISR meets each child exactly where they are. Big sister, middle sis, little brother… water safety has no age limit.

They’re heading into summer with confidence, independence, and the skills to stay safer in and around the water. ☀️🌊

ISR isn’t just swimming; it’s survival, independence, and peace of mind.

When your swim parents are awesome and send you a cute montage of their swimmer’s session like this one 💙

7 weeks. 10 minutes a day. The foundation for a lifetime of water safety. 🙌🏻

Watching this little mermaid grow in confidence and develop strong aquatic problem-solving skills over the course of her initial 7-week ISR session has been so special. Each lesson builds the foundation for strong survival skills in the water.

She worked so hard every single day and made incredible progress. So proud of her! 👏🏻

Consistency. Courage. Confidence.
These kids have shown up, worked hard, and it shows. 👏🏻

Nothing better than seeing happy swimmers finding their float and getting themselves to safety. 🩵

ISR isn’t just swim lessons - it’s water safety education designed to protect children beyond the pool.

Many childhood drownings happen when no one expected a child to be in the water. Often during everyday moments, not during designated swim time.

This graphic from shows why layers of protection matter:
✔️ Supervision
✔️ Barriers
✔️ Alarms
✔️ Life jackets
✔️ Swim lessons

Awareness is prevention. 💙
As we head into spring and summer, I’ll be sharing more about water safety and how families can build these layers at home. 👏🏻

For my families with 2nd-6th grade girls, BIO Girls is the best and they should come check it out! 🩷 I’m happy to talk more about this wonderful program if anyone’s interested! ☺️

Hi everyone! My name is Taylor Skari and I’m so excited to be back for my 4th season as a BIO Girls mentor! I’m a proud NDSU grad and the owner of Tiny Float Fargo, where I teach Infant Swimming Resource (ISR) lessons to help young kids learn important, life-saving water safety skills. 🫧

Helping kids is at the heart of everything I do. Whether I’m in the pool teaching a child to find their float or with the girls at BIO Girls each Sunday, my passion is the same - helping kids build confidence, resilience, and trust in themselves. That’s a big part of my “why” for BIO Girls, along with my own understanding of just how powerful encouragement and support can be at a young age. 🩷

Outside of work, I love spending time at the lake in the summer, binging a good true-crime show, and I’m also in the middle of planning my wedding!

I can’t wait for another great season together! ☺️

For parents wondering if consistency and intentional lessons really make a difference…
This is a 14 month-old at the beginning of ISR vs. the end.

Confidence. Skills. Safety. ✨
Every child progresses at their own pace — but every child deserves water safety.
Because water safety can’t wait. 🙌🏻
