Great Northern Bicycle Co./GNBC We love bicycles and no matter what you ride-we'll help keep you rollin'! Island Park Cycles was originally started in 1987 by Tom Smith.

Today Island Park Cycles is more commonly known at Great Northern Bicycle Company (because of where the shop is now located...The Great Northern Depot, which was once the city's train station as well as an eatery/brewery). The shop is still owned and run by Tom (though with his wife Kari and Aaron Romaine). In 2017 we celebrated our 30th year as Fargo-Moorhead's one stop bicycling shop!

We are officially starting our group rides this Tuesday, April 21st!

Our first road ride of the season will be launching off at our store, 425 Broadway @ 6 pm. Everyone will need to sign a waiver before the ride. We'll have them printed and ready at the shop, please stop in early if you can!

Our new hours are
Monday - Thursday: 10am to 8pm
Friday - Saturday: 10am - 7pm
Sunday: 12pm - 5pm

Bring your bike in for a spring tune up. With a 2 day turnaround we will have your bike ready to roll in no time! We can't wait to see you and your bicycle soon!🚴
