The 2025 SCTP National Team Championships brought a total of 3,099 student athletes from across the nation who competed over the week of July 12 - 19, 2025 in Marengo, Ohio at the Cardinal Center Shooting Grounds. The state of Michigan was represented by 346 of those athletes, ranking 4th in the nation for top attendance behind Ohio, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania. From the Harper Creek Clay Target team, 20 student athletes attended and competed in the disciplines of Sporting Clays, American S***t, and American Trap Singles. Harper Creek Community Schools were well represented and the students placed as follows: 102nd out of 200 teams in Sporting Clays, 70th out of 183 teams in American S***t, and 65th out of 250 teams in American Trap Singles. The team then finished 16th out of 24 qualified High School teams in the nation. Hats off to every student athlete who went and competed. #
