IT’S OFFICIAL…BMatt is a professional baseball pitcher playing with the High Point Rockers in the Atlantic League of Professional Basebal, an MLB Affiliate league.

He signed on Saturday and pitched 2 shutout innings on Sunday - 3 up 3 down in the 8th, and then finished with a strikeout in the 9th. No hits and no runs!

Today, the final out of the final collegiate game for the final active player, Brayden Matthews, of the Bartlett Panthers Baseball Class of 2020 took place.

What began as 2 Middle School teams led to 19 Freshman, that culminated with 13 Seniors. Of those 13, 8 would sign with a collegiate program. Great memories were made, accomplishments were achieved, and years of hard work was rewarded.

Will we see a Panther at the next level? Only time will tell. But for now, we say thank you to all of our incredible 2020 Bartlett Panthers and we continue to support them as they grow into their respective careers and families.

Thanks for the memories…GO PANTHERS!!!

BJ Banyon, is making his presence known in Danville, IL for the Danville Dans of the Prospect League. The Dans are currently 37-10 and in 1st place in their division. BJ has played in 28 games, scored 32 times, has 26 hits including 2 yard-bombs, 21 RBI's, 25 stolen bases and a batting average of .330.

The Dans have about 2 weeks left in their season. Making the Panthers proud BJ!

Brayden Matthews was invited to the prestigious Cape Cod Baseball League to pitch for the Falmouth Commodores during the final month of the season. He’s already made 4 relief appearances facing some of the top MLB prospects from the Power 5 conferences as well as others.

As the first Panther to play in Cape Cod, he’s doing Bartlett proud.

Got to see BJ Banyon play tonight for the University of Memphis. Ben and Crystal were there as well. I think Ben was upset because they ran out of hot dogs on $1 dog night.
