The fishing is improving in the greater Portland area! Herring runs are still in full effect but we are hearing of fish filling in throughout the bay and on the beaches as well. The water temps are still quite cold, so finding any areas with warmer water will be advantageous. Throughout the coming week, we should see things pick up steadily with the warmer weather. The Berkley Chop Blocks have been a slammer anywhere there is big bait around! Glide baits seem to be all the craze right now and for good reason. They are effective!

We will be closed on Monday 1/26/26 due to inclement weather… In other news, the lake trout fishing on Sebago has been fantastic!! We have airplane jigs and bucktails all tied up and ready to roll.
