Give Day is just ONE WEEK AWAY!

What makes the Y special? It’s the people, the stories and the countless reasons why our community believes in the work we do.

This year, our YMCA staff and board members are sharing their personal WHY through their Give Day pages. We invite you to explore their stories, learn more about the programs and causes that mean so much to them and find something that speaks to you.

Maybe your passion is helping a child learn to swim. Maybe it’s giving a family access to the Y when finances are tight. Maybe it’s supporting youth, healthy living, community health, individuals with special needs or creating a place where everyone feels like they belong.

There are so many ways to make a difference through the Y, and every gift helps us continue serving our community.

Happy Labor Day from your Y family.
Today isn't just about a day off - it's about honoring the people who show up, work hard, and give their all for their families and communities. Teachers shaping young minds, nurses caring through the night, parents juggling it all, and so many more.
We're grateful for every one of you who makes our Y community what it is. Take today to rest, recharge, and spend time with the people you love - you've earned it.

THE LUAU IS ALMOST HERE!

We’re less than a week away! Join us Friday, September 11 from 7 to 11 p.m. at the YMCA Thurston Waterpark for one of our favorite nights of the year, all while supporting the Rappahannock Area YMCA!

En’Novation will be performing LIVE, and Line Dancing with Cheri will keep everyone moving between sets. We’ll also have local food trucks, specialty drinks, great music, dancing, and plenty of fun by the waterpark.

Make it a date night because we’ve got the kids! While adults enjoy the Luau, kids can have their own fun at our Kids Party inside the YMCA.

Chris has been an important part of our YMCA family for over 20 years, and his knowledge, experience, and passion for our Y truly know no bounds. He is always happy to connect with our members and help make everyone feel welcome.

The Fredericksburg Cyclists are proud to present the 2026 Cannonball Century Ride on Saturday, September 26, 2026, in Fredericksburg, VA.

This year’s event features three all-new route options, giving cyclists the opportunity to choose the distance that’s right for them:
35 miles • 65 miles • 100 miles

Whether you're ready to take on the full century or looking for a shorter ride, this is a great opportunity to challenge yourself, enjoy the ride, and be part of our local cycling community.

The event is presented in partnership with Blue Ridge Cyclery Events Promotions and the Ron Rosner Family YMCA, and we are excited to be part of this year's ride.
