We have been working nonstop to get ready for summer 2026 and we're so excited to announce that we are officially ready to open for the season tomorrow, Thursday June 4th at our first location in North Falmouth at Old Silver Beach! Our other locations (Falmouth Heights, Surf Drive & Bristol) will be opening very soon, so make sure to check back for updates. Come say hi! :)

Beachside Blends and Chawgies will make a return to the town’s beaches this summer, providing food and drinks to beachgoers. New to the food truck program will be Perry’s Last Stand, an ice cream truck.

The town issued a request for proposals on January 16, soliciting bids for eight contracts. The town was looking for both mobile and fixed options.

Four businesses submitted bids for the eight contracts. The town requested bids for six fixed-location vendors, one mobile hot beverage vendor and one mobile food and beverage vendor.

Beachside Blends, a smoothie and acai bowl truck, was awarded contracts for Falmouth Heights Beach, Surf Drive Beach, Bristol Beach and Old Silver Beach (resident side).

Chawgies was awarded contracts for Old Silver. Ice cream will be sold at Chapoquoit Beach.

Looking forward to the 2026 season!🤗💞

Building on the success of last year’s trial run, the town plans to continue its beach food truck program into the upcoming summer season and possibly expand it to six vendors.

A request for proposals (RFP) was issued on January 16. Beach Superintendent Maggie Clayton said the previous contracted vendors received a personal invitation to submit bids.

Last April, Beachside Blends, a smoothie and acai bowl truck, and Chawgies, a Jamaican food truck, were awarded the first contracts under the program.

The town’s posting for RFP is seeking bids for six fixed-location vendors, one mobile hot beverage vendor and one mobile food and beverage vendor.
