Lee Workman, owner of Peak Performance Fitness Zone, has been helping members of the Pendleton County community become stronger, healthier and more active since opening his Falmouth business in January 2025.
The 2,000-square-foot fitness facility offers cardio equipment, strength-training machines, free weights and personal training, giving individuals a variety of options whether they are just beginning their fitness journey or looking to take their workouts to the next level.
Since opening nearly two years ago, Workman has continued to expand the services and opportunities available to those looking to improve their health and fitness. Among those opportunities is participation in SilverSneakers, Renew Active, One Pass and Aaptiv — fitness and wellness programs available through qualifying health plans and benefit programs. Depending on eligibility and the individual program, benefits may include complimentary gym access, personalized fitness guidance and customized workout resources, helping make regular exercise more accessible and affordable.
Peak Performance also offers a selection of retail products to support members before, during and after their workouts, including energy and protein drinks, protein powders, pre- and post-workout supplements, vitamins, weight-loss products and a limited selection of high-protein foods.
Workman is currently making improvements to the facility to provide flexibility and expanded access. Over the next several weeks, he will be installing a new badge-and-app entry system, motion-sensor lighting and additional security cameras to expand its hours while maintaining a secure environment for its members.
Peak Performance Fitness Zone is located at 514 Market Street in Falmouth. Current hours are 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. The facility is closed Sunday.
