0425 A number of finishers starting after 0400: not in order - C'est La Vie, Elusive, Wind Chime, Apollo, Solstice, AEventure, Mistake Not! Hope crosses the line and is the last boat to finish the 2026 Monhegan Island Race and Seguin Sprint! Thank you all for an incredible event. See you tomorrow for the awards brunch from 10am - 12! Come celebrate Monhegan and all of the incredible stories that were made over the past 36 hours!

0200 - A bunch of boats finished in the last hour or so. At 0200 Wind Chime cleared East Cod Ledge, so the whole fleet is in the final leg of the race. The trick is that the wind is light and the tide is starting to go out. It looked like the wind filled a bit from behind and condensed the fleet.

Sunday 8/2 00:45 - We have finishers on the Seguin Course. Skoot takes line honors with Abu and Family Wagon hot on their heels.

2345 - That’s it for the Monhegan course this year! We have had a quiet time here on shore since the crews from Delja, Juliett and Veladare finished their pizza and headed to bed.

2315 - It is coming down to the wire - 5 boats are all lined up across the course all around 2.5 miles from the finish. It is going to be interesting in the next hour to see who comes out on top. Go Dog Go, Breakaway, Skoot, Sirius and High Energy all have a shot at line honors.

2030 - Go Dog Go, Breakaway and Skoot are neck and neck as they pass East Cod Ledge. They are about 6 miles from the finish. Sirius and High Energy are just a bit behind them. Meanwhile Wind Chime has rounded Seguin so the whole fleet is on their way back. There is an 18 mile stretch of boats from Portland Head to Seguin!

1945 - Boats are rounding Seguin, Riptide Racing and Family Wagon are around. Skoot, Breakaway, Morning Star are soon to follow, The rest of the front pack is in the area.
