Phily Phresh 2022 Arrowhead Summer League Champions. Viking Hawks 7- Truman 1
The Viking Hawks (3-3) played strong the entire way, controlling both sides of the ball led by senior goalie Will Slaman (CR South) on the defensive side of the ball, while several other players on the Viking Hawks were able to contribute offensively.
The score could have been much worse if not for the play of Truman (0-6) goalie sophomore Tommy Bryson (6 saves.)

Pennsbury 8- Purple Cobras 1
Pennsbury (4-2) went up 6-0 going into the half led by junior goalie John Vereb (8 saves) and Senior Will Taylor (4 g, 4gb).
The Purple Cobras (2-4) fought back in the second half led by senior Josh Razler (Holy Ghost Prep) with the lone Cobra goal.

Championship Game:
Philly Phresh 3- CR North 2
In an incredibly tight defensive game Philly Phresh (6-0) was able to hold off a gritty CR North team (4-2) to go undefeated and win the 2022 Arrowhead Summer Lacrosse League Championship, going from worst to first in only two summers! The Phresh (a mix team of Father Judge, Archbishop Ryan, & Conwell Egan) were led by their senior goalie & two-time summer league all-star Gavin Ammlung (Father Judge) making 9 saves as well as by senior Marquan Gayle (Father Judge) helping to control the flow of the game by dominating at the face off x.

CR North 7- Viking Hawks 5
In a back and forth battle, CR North took the early lead and was able to hold on the entire way, finishing the summer 4-1 and solidifying their spot in the championship game next week. CRN was led offensively by senior Nick Colavita 5G 2a & freshman Liam Dudley 2 g. Defensively CRN was led by junior Charlie Rambo with 3 caused turn overs & 4 gb’s. The Viking Hawks finish the summer, 2-3.

Pennsbury 13- Truman 0
Pennsbury dominated the game on all sides of the ball to finish the summer season (3-2). The Falcons were led by senior Nate Schaffer LSM 3 F/O wins 6 GBs 2 Caused Turnovers and junior goalie Jon Vereb earning his 1st shutout of the summer.

Philly Phresh 9- Purple Cobras 3
Philly Phresh (5-0) finished their undefeated season by beating the Purple Cobras (2-3) by controlling the faceoffs, led junior Seamus Hart (Father Judge) in new role, dominating at the x. Gavin Ammlung continued a fantastic summer, playing solid in net.
One bright spot for the Cobras was when close defenseman, Brett Cohen (Neshaminy) scored his 2nd goal of the summer at the final buzzer of the game.
