Northern Virginia's premier martial arts academy was founded in 2008 by TUF 22 Champion and current UFC Fighter, Ryan Hall. We offer classes in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Kickboxing, Submission Grappling, Wrestling, Judo, Capoeira, and NEW Private & Semi-Private Sports Performance Coaching for Children and Adults of all-levels. mediate & advanced practitioners; we believe this allows us to give everyone what they need to learn and grow at an accelerated pace. All of our full-time instructors have competed on the national and international level, consistently testing their skills against the elite to ensure that we are providing the best instruction possible. We are constantly pushing ourselves to learn and grow physically, mentally, and technically as we stay on the cutting edge of our sport. Working through Koshi-guruma (hip wheel / headlock throw) details in class today and fine-tuning the precise mechanical details and ex*****on instead of forcing the movement. When the mechanics are locked in, everything else just flows. On their path to it…one day at a time.

A very special night at 50/50. Congratulations to Kelani Ramos on earning her judo black belt.

Kelani has been competing since she was little, and at just 15 years old, she represented Team USA at the 2024 Junior World Championships. This belt represents years of training, competition, perseverance, and growth—and it is very well earned.

We are incredibly proud of you, Kelani. 🥋🖤

Kids don’t just learn jiu-jitsu—they learn how to stay calm when things get hard. They learn to solve problems, keep trying when something doesn’t work the first time, and treat their training partners with respect. The techniques matter, but the habits they build on the mats are what stay with them long after class.
