Discover the excitement of fencing with Nova’s Beginning Fencing program!
 
This 8-session class introduces new fencers to the fundamentals of the sport in a welcoming and structured environment. Participants will begin developing their fencing skills while learning the basics of movement, technique, and strategy.
 
The fall session begins Monday, September 14. No previous fencing experience is required.

Top 8 for Jeannine Prokop at the Trick or Treat ROC!
 
Jeannine earned 7th place in Veteran Women’s Épée, adding another strong result to her season.
 
She had a great day of fencing, finishing in the Top 8 after facing the fencer who went later won the event.

Top 8 for Anna Nguyen at the Trick or Treat ROC! 

Anna finished 8th out of 31 fencers in Division II Women’s Saber at this C2-rated event, earning her place in the Top 8 after defeating higher-ranked opponents along the way.

A strong performance against a competitive field and another example of the excellence Anna continues to bring to the strip.

🥉 Podium finish for Nova’s Craig Johnson!

Craig represented Nova Fencing Club at the Adult Combined Mixed Epee event at Modern Duelists Fencing Academy, earning 3rd place in the competition! 🤺

Results like this highlight the strength of Nova’s adult fencing program, where adult fencers of all experience levels can train, compete, and continue developing their skills in a competitive environment.

A great week of high-level épée training at the 2026 Leo Competitive Epee Camp with Sebastien Dos Santos! 🤺

We were very proud to have Nova Coach Marco Little John Secco invited as a guest coach for the camp, bringing his expertise and experience to a talented group of competitive epee fencers. Having our coaches recognized and invited to teach beyond our own club reflects the level of fencing instruction and expertise we provide every day at Nova.

Our Nova fencers, Olivia D’Angelo , Kian, , and Braedan also had the opportunity to spend the week training, competing, and developing their épée alongside strong athletes and coaches.

Thank you to Sebastien Dos Santos and Leo Fencing Club for inviting Coach Marco and for an excellent week of camp!

🥇 Gold for Noah! 🤺

Congratulations to Noah on winning the Mixed Open Summer Sabre at DCFC today!

Competing in a B1-rated event, Noah delivered an excellent performance, including a victory over a B23-rated fencer, to take home the gold and earn his B26 rating! 👏
