Take a moment to review our CCHS Athletic Event Expectations before the game Friday night!

Friday Night Lights are back! 🙌

The Greenwave will take the field for their first home football game of the season this Friday night against Truckee, with kickoff set for 7:00 p.m. at the Edward Arciniega Athletic Complex.

As we get ready for our first Friday night under the lights, we wanted to take a moment to remind our Greenwave families, students, and community of a few expectations when attending CCHS athletic events.

CCHS Athletic Event Expectations:

CCHS athletic events are an important part of the Greenwave Experience and a chance for our community to come together, support our student-athletes, and enjoy the game.

To help keep our athletic events safe and enjoyable, children who are not yet high school age must be accompanied and supervised by an adult for the duration of the event. They will not be admitted without an adult and should not be dropped off or left unattended.

All children and students attending athletic events are expected to remain in designated spectator areas. They may not roam the facilities, adjacent grass fields, or parking lots. Anyone engaging in unsafe or disruptive behavior or failing to follow event expectations may be removed from the event. CCHS staff cannot assume responsibility for supervising children or students who have been removed.

CCHS has also added security cameras around our athletic facilities, with additional lighting behind the stadium coming soon. These measures will help us monitor and respond to unsafe behavior.

Our fans are here to watch the game, cheer on our athletes, and enjoy the Greenwave Experience. Thank you for helping us keep our events safe, positive, and focused on our students.

Please note that adult admission has increased from $8 to $10 for the 2026–27 school year.

RAIDER NATION RECOGNITION! 🏈 🏴‍☠️

Congratulations to Churchill County High School Head Football Coach Calvin Connors, who has been named this week’s Las Vegas Raiders Tom Flores High School Coach of the Week! 🎉

Coach Connors was selected following the Greenwave’s victory over Bishop Manogue and is being recognized for his leadership and the work happening within the CCHS football program both on and off the field.

As part of the honor, the Las Vegas Raiders and NFL Foundation will award $1,000 to the CCHS football program!

The Tom Flores High School Coach of the Week program recognizes high school coaches and teams for building successful programs and making an impact on their student-athletes.

Coach Connors will also be featured on Raider Nation Radio 920 AM as this week’s recipient!

Congratulations, Coach Connors, and congratulations to our Greenwave football players and coaching staff on this well-deserved recognition! 🏈

🏐 CCHS VOLLEYBALL SUMMER CAMP 2026! 🏐

Calling all future volleyball stars! Registration is officially open for our 2026 Volleyball Summer Camp. This is a fantastic opportunity for young athletes to learn directly from CCHS Coaches and Players, sharpen their skills, and have a blast on the court!

Best of all, all proceeds go directly to supporting the CCHS Volleyball Program. Thank you for your support!

📅 Camp Dates: June 22nd-24th
📍 Location: CCHS Small Gym

🕒 Session Details:
Session 1 (Incoming 4th–6th Graders): 9:00 AM -11:30 AM
Session 2 (Incoming 7th & 8th Graders): 12:30 PM-3:00 PM

💵 Cost & What's Included:
Price: $100 per player
Perks: Registration includes an official camp T-shirt and your very own volleyball!

Enjoy your summer break, but don't forget to stay sharp! The CCHS Lady Wave Soccer Summer Training program is just around the corner, and we want to see you out on the pitch.

Whether you are returning to the team or trying out for the first time, this is where the hard work begins! 🌊⚽️

📆 Training Starts: JULY 7th, 2026
⏱ Training Schedule:
Tuesdays & Wednesdays: 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM at the Lahontan Grass Fields

Thursdays: 8:30 AM – 10:00 AM at the CCHS Sports Stadium Turf

Training is OPEN TO all incoming and returning:

Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors & Seniors at CCHS or Oasis!

Looking to level up your athletic game this summer? 🏋️‍♂️🏃‍♂️

Registration is open for the Summer Athletic Performance & Conditioning Program! This is a summer training program designed to benefit athletes in ALL sports. Whether you play football, basketball, soccer, or run track, this program is built for you!

💵 COST: Completely FREE for students entering 8th grade & up!

📅 The Details:
Starts: June 15, 2026

Time: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM

Train to Improve: Strength, Speed, Endurance, Agility, and Overall Athletic Performance!

Monday, Tuesday, & Friday: CrossFit Powerstroke

Wednesday: High School Gym & Field

Thursday (Every Other): Possible Pool Workouts (pending final approval and availability)
