ATTENTION CHEERLEADERS! 📣

Are you an incoming freshman (current 8th grader) or a current CCHS student looking to try out for the cheer team for next year? It’s time to get ready!

Our CCHS Cheerleading Tryout Clinics are just ONE WEEK AWAY, and we want to see YOU there!

These clinics are FREE, but attendance is required to learn tryout choreography, stunts, and motions. This is your chance to meet the coaches, refine your skills, and see what CCHS Cheer is all about.

📅 WHEN:
April 14, 21, and 28 (It is highly recommended you attend all three!)
3:30 PM-6:30 PM
(Please note check-in is at 3:30 PM)

📍 WHERE:
CCHS (Auxiliary Gym)

✅ WHAT TO KNOW:
Wear: Athletic clothes and sneakers (in Green, Black, or White).
Bring: A water bottle!
Be Ready To: Stunt, learn motions, practice jumps, and review all tryout material.

Are you ready to take the next step in your dance journey? The Precision Dance Team is looking for its next generation of elite dancers for the 2026-2027 school year!

Whether you’ve been dancing for years or want to try something new, we want to see you there. Multiple placement levels are available for different skill sets!

We are excited to share that the 2025 Fall Sports Guide is now available electronically on the Churchill County High School Athletics webpage!

The CCHS Cheer Team and Coach Darlene Robinson have been working so hard to put this together, and it looks amazing! 🔥

GUERRERO PUNCHES TICKET TO STATE

Fallon's Rylie Guerrero qualified for the 3A state golf tournament, which begins today in Southern Nevada.

She finished in the top-four outside of the qualifying state teams to punch her ticket to the tournament. Guerrero tees off at 12:39 p.m. today at the par-72 Boulder City Golf Course. The tournament resumes on Tuesday at the Boulder Creek Golf Club.

Two of the top teams in northern Nevada high school football clashed for a historic rivalry game. The Churchill County Greenwave defeated the Fernley Vaqueros 45-15.

Today is one of the biggest days of the season for these two rivals!

On the Vaqueros' volleyball court, Fallon and Fernley battle for first place in the 3A East after the Lady Wave got the upper hand last month in Fallon. Volleyball matches start at 2 p.m. with the freshman followed by JV and varsity.

Later on the football field, first place is also on the line when the undefeated Greenwave visit the one-loss Vaqueros on Senior Night. The action kicks off at 4:30 p.m. with the JV game followed by varsity at 7 under the lights.
