October 9-11, Flint Oak will once again have the tremendous privilege of hosting the 8th Annual Mission Support Spectacular, benefiting Honor Flight of Southeast Kansas.

This year’s mission has a very special LARGE goal:

✈️ Washington, D.C. — June 2027
💰 Approximately $200,000 needed to make it happen

These American heroes answered the call when their country needed them. Now we have an opportunity to do something pretty special for them.

And in the year America celebrates her 250th birthday, we can’t think of a better way to celebrate than by honoring some of the men and women who helped protect everything those 250 years represent.

Our annual 200-target sporting event will be set on a 13-station layout. Bring your golf cart or UTV because, in typical Flint Oak fashion, we’re going to spread this one out across plenty of our beautiful Kansas rolling acres.

Chef, promises to keep everyone well fed with a great selection of entrées beginning Thursday evening, and after the guns go quiet each night, The Last Shot Sports Bar will be hopping with cold libations, tall tales and plenty of discussion about the targets that should have broken.

We still have a handful of rooms available in the Main Lodge, but they won’t last long.

September Happenings at the Ranch!

There’s still plenty happening at Flint Oak as we head into September! From Tacos ’N Targets and Fried Chicken to Steak Night, Prime Rib, our Asian Buffet and Shrimp Boil, there are several great reasons to spend an evening at the Ranch.

A World-Class Look at the Greenwood Invitational 🇺🇸🇬🇧

We’re extremely proud to share this outstanding piece produced by Jonny Carter and TGS Outdoors during the Greenwood Invitational this past June at Flint Oak.

Jonny traveled from England to spend time with us and captured not only some incredible FITASC targets and shooting, but also the people, camaraderie, craftsmanship and atmosphere that make the Greenwood Invitational such a special event.

Jim and Jared Greenwood have created something truly unique with this invitational, bringing together a remarkable group of shooters from across the country for several days of competition, friendship and great targets.

Jonny and the TGS Outdoors team did a world-class job telling that story and showcasing Flint Oak along the way.

We’re honored to have hosted them and incredibly proud to share their work.

We really started noticing it last year…and this year, the bobwhite quail population seems to have absolutely exploded!

With what appears to have been two very favorable springs and summers in a row, these extremely special little birds seem to be flourishing across our part of Kansas. We’re seeing more birds, hearing more whistles, and coming across more coveys than we can remember in quite some time.

There are few sounds that belong to the Kansas countryside quite like that unmistakable “Bob-WHITE!” call… please share with us what you’ve experienced this season.
