🚨𝙉𝙀𝙒 𝙉𝘼𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉𝘼𝙇 𝙍𝘼𝙉𝙆𝙄𝙉𝙂𝙎 𝘼𝙇𝙀𝙍𝙏🚨

𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐒𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐒' 𝐌𝐄𝐍'𝐒 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟗 𝐁𝐈𝐆 𝐁𝐎𝐀𝐑𝐃!!!!

Topping all Empire State personnel in the freshly released MS 2029 Big Board would be 31st overall prospect, 𝑫𝒐𝒎 𝑫𝒂𝒓𝒄𝒉 (St. Francis Red Raiders), who followed up his bronze medal at the NYSPHSAA State Championships by finishing as the NHSCA Freshman National Runner-up, the USAW 16U Folk 3rd-place finisher, and then most recently claiming the 16U MFS crown at the Blatnick (victory over 2026 DII State runner-up 𝐂𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐀𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢)!!!

𝑴𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒘 𝑷𝒆𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒐𝒏 has seen his star on the rise since the conclusion of his frosh campaign, as the 2026 NYSPHSAA DI 7th has gone on to win a NHSCA National title, as well as earned Double U15 All-American honors (4th in GR, 7th in FS) at the U.S. Open!

The top man in NY-USAW's class polls, 𝑽𝒊𝒏𝒄𝒆𝒏𝒛𝒐 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒐 (3x State Placer; 2025 USAW 14U Triple Crown winner, etc.) has been slowed down by injuries of late; but prior to being shelved, he was able to hoist NHSCA National hardware while also earning bronze at both the USAW 16U Folk National Championships and the 2026 Journeymen World Classic!!....There is little doubt that when he is able to return to action; he will make a quick climb back up the charts where he belongs!!

Don't sleep on or cast aside the stud that is 2025 NYSPHSAA DI State titlist, 𝑱𝒐𝒏 𝑻𝒖𝒕𝒌𝒖....Another case where the injury bit has bitten hard, thus preventing him from competing much on the national stage during the spring/summer; it is important to remember that the young prodigy out of Massapequa was previously a top-50 ( #47) recruit when able to put his skillset on display!

Huge opportunity for those interested in attending a summer wrestling camp. Buffalo and the Blue Bulls Wrestling Club are offering two different camps from June 29 to July 2 in the Buffalo wrestling room.

The Buffalo coaching staff including Donnie Vinson, Andrew Dunn, Hunter Richard, and Ben Freeman will be in attendance. You’ll also get access to the KD6 coaching staff including Kellen Devlin and Steve Hart.

Also a great opportunity for kids to get exposure to college wrestlers, as some of the Buffalo wrestlers will be there as well.

Wins in the championship rounds have not come easy on Saturday for the Empire State contingent at the USAW U23 FS Nationals....

But one wrestler who seems to be rolling along nicely is none other than Army WP sophomore, 𝑮𝒂𝒈𝒆 𝑳𝒂𝑷𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒆!!!

Moments ago, the former 2x NYSPHSAA DI State Placer/2024 Bronze Medalist out of St. Francis improved to 2-0 on the day and advanced to the 86kg MFS R16 via a commanding 16-6 superiority triumph at the expense of 2026 NCAA DI National Qualifier/ACC Conference runner-up, 𝐉𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐲 (formerly of UNC; now at NC State; also a 2025 U20 Trials 4th)!!

Trailing 6-4 (jumped out to a 4-0 lead before allowing the next six straight points to his Wolfpack foe) approximately 1:02 into the 1st period; the Section 6 native [LaPlante] caught fire in the last 1:42 of the opening stanza, as he racked up four takedowns (including a buzzer-beating go-behind with :03 on the clock) and a pair of 2pt gut-wrenches to pull away and leave no doubt!!

Seeded 21st among the field; the Black Knight will look to keep the winning streak going when he clashes with 2x NCAA Tourney Qualifier/2x SoCon King, 𝐓𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐬 𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐫, in his next trip to the mats on the Spire Academy campus!
