Pitchers carry a weight most people will never understand. Every pitch is a choice. Every release is a risk. And every mistake echoes louder because it starts with them.

They stand alone in the circle, not because they have to—but because they’re built for it. No hiding behind the play, no blending into the lineup. Just dirt under their cleats, the ball in their hand, and the game resting on their shoulders.

Every moment runs through them. The pace, the pressure, the energy—it all flows from the circle. They don’t just throw pitches, they set the tone. They control the rhythm. They decide when the game speeds up… and when it slows to a heartbeat.
And when things go wrong—and they will—it’s different for a pitcher. There’s no escaping it. No sideline to disappear into. Just the courage to step back on the rubber, lock in, and throw again like nothing shook them.

That takes more than skill. That takes a different kind of toughness. The kind that doesn’t need to be loud. The kind that burns steady, quiet, and relentless.
So to the pitchers who carry it all without flinching… the ones who lead with composure, fire, and unshakable focus—we see you.

We have had some very special girls take the mound for us, as Tennessee Stingers, and I am thankful for each one of them.

💜💛 Happy Father's Day from the Tennessee Stingers! 💛💜

Today we celebrate the dads, grandpas, stepdads, and father figures who make this game possible.

Thank you for the early mornings, long drives, bucket after bucket of pitches, countless hours of practice, and the unwavering support from the stands. Thank you for teaching our players the value of hard work, perseverance, character, and faith.

Whether you're coaching from the dugout, cheering from the bleachers, or simply being our biggest fan, your impact reaches far beyond the softball field.

We are grateful for every sacrifice, every lesson, and every memory made along the way.

Wishing all of our Stingers dads a very Happy Father's Day!

The past few months have been incredibly busy for the families of the Tennessee Stingers, and I want to take a moment to recognize the growth and accomplishments of our players. We are so proud of each of them—not just as softball players, but as outstanding young people.

Congratulations to our girls who have completed 5th grade and are preparing to take on the challenges of middle school. New schools, new friendships, and new opportunities—especially in middle school sports—there are exciting steps ahead and these girls will crush them.

I want to give special recognition to Emma for leading her rec team to a championship. Her pitching and leadership played a huge role in guiding her team to victory. We also celebrate Maddie and Noelle, these two are the dynamic duo, besties on and off the field. together they took down a pretty tough team of travel ballers, with great pitching, strong defense and timely hitting to win their rec league championships as well. These two are definitely part of the Stingers family, and we will be cheering them on as the chase their future goals.

Rylee, Grace, SoJo, Henley, KK, and Ever were all selected as All-Stars—an incredible achievement. Rae received the Community Award for her outstanding character. Grace earned the Writer’s Award, and Emory was recognized with an Outstanding Leadership Award. Hayden delivered an amazing dance performance that made us all proud.

There are so many accomplishments worth celebrating, and I know I may have missed some—please feel free to share and brag on these girls so we can recognize all they have achieved.

As the softball season comes to a close, one moment that especially fills my heart with joy is Henley’s decision to be baptized. It is a powerful reminder of the growth we are seeing in these girls, not just on the field, but in their lives and faith.

This team has accomplished so much—we make not have the rings or trophies this fall, but we competed at a higher level, and continued to grow. We’ve faced adversity, taken on challenges, and yes, sometimes we’ve fallen short—but that is part of the journey.

To the parents and fans, thank you. Time is moving far too quickly, and I feel truly blessed to play even a small role in this journey with these girls.

Today, we ask that you take a moment to celebrate the beautiful life and radiant spirit of Bex, gone from our sight but never from our hearts. Her smile, kindness, and joyful energy still live on in every story we tell, every #12 we see, and every game played in her honor.

We know that she will be missed every day, but we choose to celebrate the laughter she brought, the friendships she made, and the light she shared with everyone around her.

Happy Heavenly Birthday Bexley. Forever #12.

This weekend, the Tennessee Stingers and the Middle Tennessee Softball Community take the field with heavy hearts and a greater purpose. 💜🥎

While we compete for every pitch, every out, and every inning, we also play in remembrance of a young athlete whose light impacted so many around her.
Today and throughout this weekend, we honor Bexley — a teammate, friend, daughter, and forever part of the softball family. 💙🧡🕊️

The game of softball is bigger than wins and losses. It’s about the friendships, the memories, the love, and the community that stands together during life’s hardest moments.

We pray for peace, comfort, and strength for Bexley’s family, teammates, coaches, and everyone who loved her.

This weekend, we play with grateful hearts.�We play for each other.
