I promise you, you are so much fitter than you realise right now. You are so much more capable. You can do so much more than you think you can.

Last week me and my best friend rode 136 miles around our local reservoir, in 24 hours, with zero sleep. The furthest I had ridden before this was 36 miles.

My legs did NOT want to pedal at 1.30am, 100 miles in.

I did NOT want to get out of the gazebo at 3am when it was sideways rain in 40mph rains.

50 laps in, my legs did not want to carry me up the climb that was half way round each lap.

Every time I sat back down on the saddle after a brief test at the end of each lap, it was like sitting on a hundred tiny knives from the chafing.

But I knew I had to do it. Stopping wasn’t an option. When you really, truly commit to something you’ll be amazed at how much more you can do than you think.

Push your limits.

Go a little further.

Work a little harder.

Realise that what you think are your current limits...are not really your current limits.

That’s a really empowering thought. You are fitter than you think you are! Go out there and set some new PR’s! ❤️
