Two of our Sophomore Varsity Soccer players, Quinn Wall and Eli Iszkula, are up for Erie Sports Now Tendto Credit Union’s Athlete of the year!

All high school athletes who were featured on Erie News Now as the Athlete of the Week during the 2025-2026 school year are eligible. Vote ONCE PER DAY, and the athlete with the most votes will win a $2,500 scholarship from Tendto Credit Union. Voting ends June 24th, then watch Erie Sports Now to see which athlete will earn the honor and scholarship.

Congratulations to Fairview Senior soccer captain Jackson Chiocco on being chosen as the recipient of the Hagan Hetz Memorial Scholarship. Hagan Hetz was a graduate of the Class of 1991. He was Student Council President, played varsity soccer and baseball, and served on the Student Forum. After graduation, he earned a bachelor’s in political science and a Master of Business Administration at Vanderbilt University. He was a leader in his industry and in his community. This scholarship was created in Hagan’s memory by dear family friend, Katie Scott, upon her graduation from Fairview High School and her commitment to Penn State soccer. The Fairview School Foundation chose a graduating male or female soccer player. The primary consideration for this award will be the applicant’s participation in soccer, academic achievement, and college commitment.
