Thruway Series Hockey Competition The Thruway Series provides cross-league competition between the Empire (Rochester area) and Snowbelt (Central New York area) leagues.

The Thruway Cup tournament schedules are posted -- now we just need the teams to fill them! The tournament will be held on Sunday February 20 at the RIC in Fairport. Remember, only the top two Empire and top two Snowbelt teams for each age group make it to the Thruway Cup tournament! Good luck!

Some of the posted Thruway Series results were not being reflected in the standings, particularly at 10U. Everything is fixed now and the standings should be accurate according to what has been reported.

Thruway Series is back! After a season off due to you-know-what, the competition between Empire & Snowbelt teams is back on! The first scheduled game is October 16 and teams will continue to compete until February 13. The top 2 Snowbelt teams will play the top 2 Empire teams in the Thruway Cup tournament on Sunday, February 20!

Due to the uncertain status of youth hockey this season (along with a compressed hockey season if youth hockey is allowed to play games at all), the Thruway Series will take the season off with plans to resume as normal during the 2021-22 season. Stay safe, stay healthy, and have fun!

Congratulations to Rochester 10U for winning the 2020 Thruway Cup! Despite not having scored a goal against Rome during their two Thruway Series games, they won the Cup with a 3-2 win. Congratulations again! Rochester Youth Hockey
