Congratulations to our 2026 Sandie Fukes Tap Scholarship recipients: Ellie R, Ella P, Dominique E, and Kenzie A. 🤍👞

This special scholarship honors a love for tap and was awarded following heartfelt essays written by each dancer about what tap means to them. We are so proud of these dancers for sharing their passion, dedication, and appreciation for this incredible art form.

Teacher Assistant of The Week: Miss Olivia W!

"I love to help kids follow their dreams, and being a TA is a perfect way to do that. I like to babysit, and teach kids. My favorite style of dance is Jazz or Tap. I've been dancing for 11 years. Being a TA and a member of the SEDC family is an honor. I never want to stop dancing and I can't imagine my life without dance. When I have a bad day at school, I can come to dance with a smile because I know the kids will make me happy. One of my dreams is to become a dance teacher, and being aTA is the closest thing I can do to being one."
