Fairmont Senior High School's Polar Bear Wrestling team ranks as one of the most storied programs in West Virginia state history. With 67 individual state championships (4th all-time behind only Parkersburg, Parkersburg South and Oak Glen) Polar Bear wrestling is known for producing strong individuals and teams dating back to 1952.
