Congratulations to CEC Wrestling senior and captain Colin Walther on his commitment to continue his academic and wrestling career at Franklin & Marshall College!

Colin has been a huge part of our program, both on and off the mat. His hard work, leadership, and dedication have helped set the standard for those around him, and we couldn’t be more excited to see what’s next.

The Diplomats are getting a great wrestler, an even better teammate, and someone who will represent CEC well at the next level.

Brian West, age 53, passed away unexpectedly at home after a brief illness. Born in Bristol, he had been a lifelong resident of Bucks County. Brian was a graduate of Pennsbury High School class of 1992 he attended West Virginia University, class of 1997, where he received his Bachelors Degree

We just got word from Coach Brian’s family. The obituary will be out on Monday, Coach Brian’s funeral will be held on August 15th at 9am.

There are some posts I just hate to write.

We received some heartbreaking news today. Coach Brian West passed away this morning.

Coach Brian was someone who truly loved wrestling and cared about the kids in our sport. We’ll all miss hearing him coaching from the corner and seeing him around at tournaments.

We don’t have any information on arrangements yet, but we’ll share them as soon as we do.

Please keep Brian’s family, friends, wrestlers, and everyone who knew him in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.

Rest easy, Coach. You’ll be missed by so many.

CEC Wrestling Bowling Night is coming!

Looking for a fun night out with friends, family, teammates, and fellow Eagles supporters? We’ve got you covered!

Today is a special day for our CEC Wrestling seniors.

Over the years, we’ve watched you grow from young athletes into remarkable young men and women. We’ve celebrated your victories, picked each other up after tough losses, spent countless hours in wrestling rooms, on buses, in hotels, and around tournament mats. Through it all, you’ve represented Conwell-Egan with pride, toughness, and character.

While wrestling teaches takedowns, escapes, and championships, the lessons that matter most are the ones you take with you after graduation: discipline, resilience, accountability, teamwork, and the ability to keep fighting when things get difficult. Those lessons will serve you far beyond the wrestling mat.

To our graduating seniors, thank you for the memories, the leadership, and the example you set for the younger wrestlers who looked up to you every day. You have helped build something special here, and your impact on this program will be felt long after you’ve moved on to your next chapter.

No matter where life takes you, you’ll always be part of the CEC Wrestling family.
