Good job

Jen Pawol will become the first female umpire ever to work a regular season Major League game during this weekend’s Marlins-Braves series in Atlanta.

Pawol, a Minor League Umpire since 2016, is one of 17 current Triple-A call-up umpires eligible to substitute in Major League games. She will work the bases in both games of Saturday’s doubleheader.

Coaches deserve more money at all levels. I played ball at University of New Mexico back in the day. In 1983 we won the Sooner invitational. I tried out for Oklahoma University and received a scholarship from them. It great to see things go full circle ⭕️. Umpires are making more money too.

If your hat looks grey and not dark blue it's a problem!

Buy Two wool hats. Wear one of the bases and one ofn the plate.

Wear a fitted hat.
Wearing a flex hat doesnt work for the collegiate level softball attire.

Putting a towel in the dugout is not okay.

When the ball is hit to right field and U1 deviates into foul territory- where should the plate umpire go? It does not constitute for the plate umpire to trail the batter runner right up the first baseline then advance to the circle. Just go straight to the right of the circle. Look for obstruction and prepare for any picked situation.

Do not call the head coach buy his first name only? Do not giggle and have a conversation prior to the game with the head coach. Just because you put your hand over your mouth doesn’t not destain the partiality to the opposing coach.

Do not ask what the visiting coach name is and then address them as well by their first name? First of all, if the coach is hitting warm up to her tear do not disturb them.

Bases loaded you did a good job going to the 3rd base holding zone. No need to run home first. You have all plays at 3rd as well.
