… this Rivalry is the 5th longest in ALABAMA HS History starting in 1931!!!!

In the latest edition of one of Alabama's oldest rivalries, Fairhope retained the Blue & Gold Trophy with a 42-28 win over Foley thanks to a punishing ground attack and some opportunistic defense.

A week after finding the end zone a whopping three times, Pirates tailback Nic Ronsisvalle replicated that effort against the Lions.

“We thought going into the game that we could run the football. We really did, and we knew we were going to put this on our line,” Fairhope head coach Caleb Ross said. “We just weren’t going to relent.”
