Another great result!! 2 of our best, Samuel Friedman and Brody Speer, took first and second place respectively earlier this month at the Emerald Coast Junior Event at Craft Farms. Christopher Sannes also played well and finished T-6th. Great job men!

- read the info provided to get the tryout details and requirements which MUST be met before the first day of tryouts.

BE SURE to get those two forms (physical and insurance) completed and turned in to the school before 9/8 or you can not try out.

Recent results!!
The US Kids Golf held a tournament in Gulf Shores last week and we had some great results, especially from the youngsters! In the boys 13-14 division we had Will Corte in 2nd, Thomas Allgood in 4th, and Michael Corte in 7th! In the boys 15-18 we had Will Farrow in 7th and Christopher Sannes T-8th.
Also want to congratulate Will Corte on his first (I believe), hole in one recently at Quail Creek!!

Boy have we got some bragging to do!!! Several posts coming in next few days as we start the new year and start looking to ‘27 golf season.

First up, our returning senior Samuel Friedman participated in and represented our program very well in the North South All-Star match a few weeks ago. The north team (which has won 6 out of the 7 all-star matches) pulled off the overall victory, but we are sure proud of Samuel’s results and look forward to seeing what he does in his upcoming senior year. Go Samuel and Go Pirates!!

Big congrats to our upcoming senior Samuel Friedman for winning the 16–18 division of the John Racciatti Junior Golf Classic at Lakewood today with a -4 68!! We had quite a few boys competing in this event who represented our program well, including Abel Hastings who was our best finisher in the 13-15 division with a T-14 finish. Great win Samuel, keep grinding boys, and Go Pirates!!

Congrats to Samuel Friedman for being selected to the 2026 North-South All-Start Golf team!! He will get the opportunity to compete against some of the best in the state on July 20th in Montgomery.

Not the end we'd hoped for, but I'm sure proud of this group and excited to see what we can do next year!! Our season came to an end last week at the sub-state tournament played at a difficult course (The AU Club in Auburn), but this year's group showed a LOT of improvement from last year and if we continue that trajectory we will be a big factor next season. A HUGE thanks to our two graduating seniors Owen Reverman and Greg Luce for years of dedication to the team, we look forward to celebrating them and the rest of the team at our team banquet tomorrow night. Go be great and we will all be wishing you the best of luck in all your future endeavors. Once a pirate always a pirate!! Great season to all, the grind for next year starts NOW!!!

Pirates ADVANCE!!! On to Substate next week at the AU Club! Owen Reverman anchored us with a 74, Brody Speer played strong and shot a 76, and Evan Trotter (80) and Matthew Freeman (81) grinded out just the scores we needed to finish as runners up. Go Pirates!!
